Captain Bill Miller was a Prince among men. I was privileged to work an executive management rotation with him crewing boats and planning liquid unit tows at ACBL. He was smart, talented, witty and a real teacher and leader. Bill was opinionated and allowed for other views. He accepted new ideas as readily as he taught important concepts. He was among the best and finest River Men I've worked with over the last 34 years. I use his knowledge every time I advise my clients. He also loved and adored his family and talked about you all often. May his grandchildren carry on with the character, honesty, integrity, hard work, intelligence and deep humor that Bill lived and shared every, single day. He was one of a kind and will be missed and remembered!

So very sorry for your loss. Bill & I were second cousins. I met him a few times when my mom, Gwenn would go back to Kuttawa and Eddyville to visit family and Aunt Willie and Ambrus. My prayers are with you and the family.
