My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Clifton.
May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. A scripture that has uplifted many who have experienced such a loss, is found at Revelation 21:4. There it describes a time when death and pain will be gone forever. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time as well. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.

I knew Clif only 8 short years but during that time he made a tremendous impact on my life. He truly cared about people. I can still hear that booming voice of his. I'll miss you brother.

Clif was both a co-worker and friend. I always knew I could count on Clif if I needed anything, he was always there for a good word and a great story. I wish I'd had the opportunity to serve with Clif in uniform because he cared about people and his troops were always in good hands. I salute you, my friend. In Gods loving hands.

I first met Clif close to 30 years ago when I was a new Voucher Examiner technician with the Illinois National Guard. Throughout my career, I have worked with him as my mentor, co-instructor, and on the ASMC PDI Committee. He taught me a lot through the years, and his knowledge in the resource management field was immense. He just called me in September to surprise me for my birthday. It was one of the best gifts I received this year. I will miss him greatly and send my condolences to the family.

Clif was both a friend and professional co-worker who always took the time to share his knowledge and to give his help. He was a wonderful human being who will be missed. Prayers sent for his peaceful journey home to G-d.

I first met Clif at a National Guard Tech Pay Conference. I remember him sitting with a yellow highlighter between his nose and upper lip. I thought who is this guy. Clif was a great soldier, man and over my career he proved me a wealth of guidance. He was a great story teller. May his family find from comfort from above. Old soldiers never die, they just fade away.
