William "Bill" Paschal

William “Bill” Paschal, 81, entered eternal life on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital.  He retired from REMC after 30 years of service where he was honored with the Ernest G. Shearer Memorial Service Award, a member of Charlestown Independent Church and past President of Silver Creek Little League.  Bill also served as Commissioner for the Sellersburg Police Department and was very active in Sellersburg Celebrates.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary Alice Paschal and a sister, Mary Helen Baker.  Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Kay Paschal, Sellersburg, sons, Jeff (Dianna) Paschal, Sellersburg, Kyle Paschal, Shelbyville, Brent (Kelli) Paschal, Sellersburg, brothers, Leo (Doris) Paschal, Louisville, Allen (Beverly) Paschal, Louisville, Reggie (Sharon) Paschal, Louisville, Richard (Dianne) Paschal, sisters, Betty Sensbach, Louisville, Marcella Early, Louisville, Tish Perry, Louisville, grandchildren, Aaron, Lucas, North and Grayson Paschal, four great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday at the Charlestown Independent Church.  Visitation will be Thursday from 12-8PM at the Garr Funeral Home and anytime after 11AM until the time of service Friday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
