Lee Roy Gray, 87, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Sellersburg Healthcare Center. He was born on June 24, 1930 to the late Lawrence and Helen Gray in New Albany, Indiana. Mr. Gray honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from L. Thorn Company where he worked in sales for 28 years.  Mr. Gray was a member of the Northside Christian Church in New Albany and a former volunteer at the Floyd Memorial Hospital and Sellersburg Housing Authority. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Gray, his second wife, Nancy Gray and by his sister, Kathryn Willen.

Survivors include, his sons, Michael Gray (Ruth) of Seattle, Washington, James Gray (Barbara) of Sellersburg, his daughter, Lisa Bottorff (Chris) of Jeffersonville, Indiana, grandchildren, Chris Gray, Aaron Gray (Hannah), Haley Bottorff, Trey Bottorff, his step children, Tom Staley (Janet), Craig Staley (Suzie), Sara Eckert (Phil), Theresa Clampitt (Troy), his step grandchildren, Jacqeline Braboy, Taylor Clampitt, Mindy Bush, Kristie Dawson, Beth Brown, Andre Staley, Rachel Eckert and Olivia Eckert. Mr. Gray also leaves behind 9 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
