Helen Yourdesky, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, Indiana. She was born on April 4, 1933 to the late Tomas Flores and Rosa Lopez in Manhattan, New York, and was also raised by her loving step-father, Arturo Lopez. Helen was a retired Registered Nurse. She worked at the Loma Linda University Hospital in Loma Linda, and Riverside General Hospitals in California. She taught her love, strength and compassion to her daughter who was by her side in her last days to send her off peacefully. In her spare time Helen enjoyed sewing, reading, and watching sports on t.v. Her appreciation of humor and a good joke would make her laugh light up the room.
