Brian E. Robertson, 46, passed away on March 1, 2020.  He was born on June 29, 1973 to Dennis and Kathy Miller Robertson.  He was a 1991 graduate of Silver Creek High School and later graduated from Indiana University Southeast.  He continued his education by receiving certifications in Microsoft and Cisco operating programs and worked as Systems Administrator and IT Security for several Louisville area companies.  Brian loved fishing, the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, I.U. and the Florida Gators.  He was an avid supporter of the Animal Protection Association.  Brian was preceded in death by his step-mother, Cindy Robertson.  Surviving are his father, Dennis “Curley” Robertson, Henryville, mother, Kathy (Glen) Padgett, New Albany, brother, Chris Robertson, Underwood, sister, Angie (Mark) Bishop, Sellersburg, step-sisters, Deb (Ron) Sappenfield, Sellersburg, Rebecca (Marc) Lomax, Charlestown, nephews, Tyler Hobbs, Jacob Bishop, niece, Katie Bishop, great-niece, Emersyn Hobbs, former wife and friend, Micalyn Schindler, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  A Memorial gathering will be held on Friday from 12-8PM at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Animal Protection Association, 702 E. 11th St., Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.  Online condolences can be made at www.garrfuneralservices.com.
