I was just thinking of Joel and actually just wrote him a note on Linkedin... We lost touch a few years back and I´ve always wanted to reach out. We shared a passion for aviation and he´s always been a good friend. Sad to see he has passed, yet thinking back he really enjoyed life a lot and this is important.
To the family all the best, he is not forgotten and I hope you are doing well!

IF you are fortunate in life, you may get an opportunity to meet a Joel Embry.
IT does not happen often or to everyone, but it happened to our family. We are better humans and will continue to always remember Joel , he made wanting to be a better person fun (and he's still at it).
Innovative, kind, loving, caring, keen....ALL special adjectives, but not nearly special enough for Joel.
Joel dedicated himself to his family; his being certainly will continue to thrive and bloom within them.
