William D. Cunningham

William David Cunningham, 83, entered eternal life on Friday, June 9, 2023 at his home in Clarksville, Indiana. He was born on October 2, 1939 to the late Hughston and Tempie Cunningham (Nance) in Madisonville, Kentucky. William honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He was a retired over the road truck driver. William enjoyed spending time outdoors working in his gardens and tending to his rose bushes and his landscaping. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Cunningham, by his brothers, “Mac” Cunningham and Larry D. Cunningham, by his sister, Lola Cunningham Ball and by his step-mother, Montie Bee Clayton Cunningham.

Survivors include his sons, Alan Cunningham (Kathy) of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, William Nathan Cunningham (Kristen) of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, David Ray of Clarksville, Indiana, his daughter, Lesa Heltsley of Dawson Springs, Kentucky and his sisters, Dean Baggett (Aubrey) of White Plains, Kentucky, Tempie Phelps of Madisonville, Kentucky and Ruthie McCarty of Madisonville, Kentucky. William also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren to cherish his memory.
