William "Bill" McCulloch

William “Bill” McCulloch, 87, entered eternal life on Monday, September 19, 2022. He was born on January, 16, 1935 to the late Ralph and Verena McCulloch (Schlosser) in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Bill was a member of the Calvary Christian Church and the Jeffersonville Masonic Lodge. He had many interests, one earning him the name “The Indiana Can Man” for his large worldwide collection of beer cans. He was an avid bird watcher, stamp collector, coin collector and baseball card collector. Bill was quite the athlete playing in a softball league which continued until he was 86. He also had an interest in watch and clock repair and was given the opportunity to work on the Colgate clock. After retiring from Colgate-Palmolive Bill took a position at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg as a funeral assistant. He served many families in his 24 years with the funeral home. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, A. Joan McCulloch.

Survivors include his daughter, Linda McCulloch Noe of Memphis, Indiana, his sons, Steven McCulloch of Clarksville, Indiana and Mike Albright (Theresa) of Henryville, Indiana. 7 grandchildren, Joshua Michael Noe, Robert Stephen Noe, Jeremiah William “Dr.  Peadunk” Noe (Kalea),  Erin Nichole Carey (Jay), Heather Campbell (Mitchell), Kimberly Loren Newby (Kyle) and Kristen Rogers (Daniel). Bill also leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren to cherish his memory, Marlowe Grace Noe, Preston Keith Carey, Conor Jay Carey, Tyler Campbell, Brooklynn Marie Newby, Mikayla Joan Newby and Hunter Lee Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, September 26, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 11 A.M. until the service at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
