Wendell C. Fraley, 81, of Borden, Indiana made his last haul on Monday, August 15, 2022. Wendell was an over the road truck driver for 63 years. He began his career at the young age of 15. Wendell was born on June 12, 1941 to the late John Thomas and Maggie Mae Fraley (Mason) in Louisville, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Wendell Justin Fraley, by his grandson, Ricky Gaskin, by his granddaughter April Lax, by his granddaughter Shelby Thomas Fraley, by his brothers, James Fraley (Anita), Sherman Fraley (Agnes) and by his sister and brother-in-law, Irene Grace and John.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Janet Harp Fraley, his two sons, Paul (Tony) Fraley (Pam) of Martinsburg, Indiana, Timothy Fraley, Sr. of Borden, Indiana, his (grand)son, T.J. Fraley (Marti) of Sellersburg, Indiana, his brother Bobby Fraley (Helen) of Martinsburg, Indiana, his triplet daughters, Tammy Koenig (Carl) of Louisville, Kentucky, Debbie Clark of Louisville, Denise Nelson of Louisville, 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, his two sister-in-laws, Joann Wood (Woody) of Louisville, Joyce O’neil (Jack) and many nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Martinsburg New Cemetery in Martinsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
