Squire Davidson, Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Squire Davidson Jr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Squire passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 12th, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born on Monday, July 16th, 1956, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Squire Davidson Sr. and Ethel Conrad.

Squire spent his professional life working in the automotive parts industry. While he took pride in his work, his ultimate passion was his family. He treasured time spent with his grandchildren, Drake, Lana, and Stella, and cherished every moment with his sons, Dustin and Toby. Squire and his loving wife, Cathy, shared a beautiful life together, marked by meaningful travels, shared interests, and the simple joys of everyday life.

He was an avid sports enthusiast and could often be found cheering for his favorite teams: the Indiana University Hoosiers, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Indiana Pacers. His presence at family gatherings and his enthusiastic spirit will be deeply missed.

Squire is survived by his devoted wife, Cathy Davidson; his sons, Dustin Davidson (Brandi) and Toby Davidson (Rui); his precious grandchildren, Drake, Lana, and Stella Davidson; his sister, Teresa Walls (Rick); his brother, Melvin Davidson (Rita); and his brother, Brian Davidson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Squire Davidson Sr. and Ethel Conrad.

Family and friends are invited to honor Squire’s life at a visitation on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the same location. Memorial contributions can be made to: Hosparus of Southern Indiana
