Sharon Mae (Burns) Kopp

Sharon Mae Kopp, 84, entered eternal life on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at her home in Jeffersonville, Indiana with her daughter by her side. She was born on April 17, 1938 to the late Raymond and Mary Alice Burns (Walker). Sharon held many positions at the Sellersburg State Bank before her retirement. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family especially her wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Kopp, by her daughter, Christy Kopp and her sister, Sue Burns.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim Kopp of Jeffersonville, Indiana, her Ohio daughter, Carolyn Humphrey (Glenn) of Grove City, Ohio, her sisters, Alice Garrett (Bill) of New Albany, Indiana, Marie Sexton of Seymour, Indiana, her grandchildren, Koddi Nelson (Brian) of Grove City, Ohio, Nicole Fickel (Andrew) of Dublin, Ohio, Katie Miller (Dalton) of Columbus, Ohio and her great-grandchildren, Jude and Maverick.  Sharon also leaves behind many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
