Sandra Sue (Fitzpatrick) Burianek

Sandra Sue Burianek, 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her home in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born on May 17, 1947 to the late Richard and Dorothy Fitzpatick (Samples) in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Sandra retired from the United States Census Bureau after many years of service.  Sandra enjoyed traveling the U.S. and spending time at her second home in Florida. Spending time with her family was paramount, especially her grandchildren. Her lively personality will be dearly missed by those that knew her. Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Donald Hollenkamp, by her daughter, Michele Cook, by her brother, Richard Fitzpatrick, and by her sister, Janie Jenks.

Survivors include her daughters, Melissa Fehribach (Willie) of Henryville, Indiana and Clarinda Dreyer (Ray) of Sellersburg, her sister, Sherry Lunsford of Henryville, and Diane Brown of Clarksville, her grandchildren, Charles Fehribach, Joseph Cook, Zach Cook, Carter Dreyer and Adalynn Dreyer. Sandra also leaves behind several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
