Ronald Lee Kelley

Ronald Lee Kelley, 74 entered eternal life on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at his home in Sellersburg with his family by his side. He was born on October 28, 1948 to the late Grant and Evelyn Kelley in Clarksville, Indiana. Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Ronald was a pressman by trade until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Kelley Walbolt, by his brothers, Doug Kelley and Mike Kelley, by his mother and father-in-law, Earl and Christine Thompson and by his brother-in-law, Bevis Thompson.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Beverly Kelley of Sellersburg, his daughter, Diane Poteet (Darren) of Sellersburg, his brothers, G.A. Kelley (Nancy of Clarksville, Lyle Kelley (Lisa) of Utica, his sister, Patty Leffew (Steve) of Virginia Beach, his brother-in-law, Dennis Thompson (Leesa) of Jeffersonville and his grandchildren, Shelby Glass (Kristopher), Braxton Poteet and Jase Poteet. Ronald also leaves many nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 N. Sherwood Ave, Clarksville, Indiana 47129) with interment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville. Friar John Bamman will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 P.M.  until 8:00 P.M. at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) and on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
