Robert D. Shields, 55, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023at Baptist Health Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on February 10, 1968 to Marcella Shields and Donald Cook. Robert worked as a welder for most of his life. He worked for Jeff Boat of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Donald Cook.
Survivors include his mother, Marcella Shields of Jeffersonville and his son, Robert Shields (Hailey) of Sellersburg. Robert also leaves his two granddaughters to cherish his memory, Serenity Baker and Penny Shields.
Cremation was chosen. No services are planned at this time.
