Rilda Ann Hein

Rilda Ann Hein, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Sellersburg Healthcare Center. She was born on January, 29, 1942 to the late Vernal and Helen Whitlow (Robertson) in Louisville, Kentucky. Rilda was a homemaker who enjoyed a good book, bird watching, spending time with her family and fellowshipping with her long standing Bunco group. She also was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. Her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities took precedence; she rarely missed a game or an event.  Rilda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Hein.

Survivors include her son, Randy Hein (Amy) of Georgetown, Indiana, her daughter, Ronetta Potts (Tracy) of Borden, Indiana, her brothers, Tom Whitlow of Booneville, Indiana, Donnie Whitlow (Debbie) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Eddie Whitlow of Pekin, Indiana, her sister, Mary Nicholson (Ronnie) of Pekin, Indiana and her grandchildren, Devin Potts (Liz) Nicki Eickholtz (Brian), Kaitlin Boone (Chris) and Olivia Hein. Rilda also leaves behind one great-grandchild to cherish her memory, Abel Potts.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday at Olive Branch Cemetery in Pekin, Indiana.
