Raymond "Bud" Albert Fenwick, Jr.

Raymond “Bud” Albert Fenwick, Jr., 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his home in Gasport, New York. He was born on September 28, 1947 to the late Raymond and Lillian Fenwick (Clifford) in New Albany, Indiana. Bud honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 8 years. He retired from Yellow Freight after 32 years as a professional driver. During his career he logged 3 ½ million miles. Bud attended church at the Indian Creek Baptist Church and was a member of the VFW Post 3281 of New Albany, Indiana. As a snow bird during his retirement years he enjoyed spending the winters at his home in Ellenton, Florida and the summers in New York.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cynthia Fenwick, by his daughter, Michelle Harris and by his two brothers, Stephen and Robert Fenwick.

Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth Fenwick of Lockport, New York, his son, Jeff Fenwick (Shan) of Suzhou, China, his daughter, Rhonda King (John) of Charlestown, Indiana, his step children, Dustin Pietricone (Kati) of Lockport, Brandy Pietricone of Lockport, Stacey Pietricone (Juni) of Lockport, Lindsey Pietricone (Eddie) of Lockport, his sisters, Helen Mitchell of Woodstock, Georgia and Lisa Fornal (John) of Hudson, Florida. Bud also leaves 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren to cherish his memory .

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Atkins Chapel Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A Pitch-In memorial dinner will be held at the Floyds Knobs Community Club Club (4032 Weber Lane, Floyds Knobs, Indiana 47119) following the interment.
