Paul J. Ledbetter

Paul J. Ledbetter, 48, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on May 26, 1974 in Effingham, Illinois. Paul worked as a mutual clerk at Church Hill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of the Calvary Christian Center of Louisville and the Local 541 Union. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, video games and his cars. Family was very important to Paul. He loved spending quality time with his children, especially singing with his girls. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul E. Ledbetter, by his father-in-law, Jr., Spencer, by his grandmother-in-law, Lula Perkins and by his grandma Ruby.

Survivors include his loving wife, Debra Ledbetter of Sellersburg, his son, Paul Jonah Ledbetter of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, his daughters, Heather Ledbetter of Sellersburg, Hannah Ledbetter of Sellersburg, Hayley Paterson (Thomas) of New Albany, Indiana, mother, Starla Ledbetter-Chouinard, his mother-in-law, Gale Spencer of Memphis, Indiana and his aunt, Pam Muncy of Sellersburg, his brother, Tyler Spencer of Memphis, Indiana, his sister, Katilin Spencer of Memphis, Indiana, his grandson, Percy Huning and his cousin Nash (Maggie) Summers and their children, Khloe and Deacon Summers.    

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
