Pansy Joyce Rogers-Hellinger-Leezer

Pansy Joyce Rogers-Hellinger-Leezer (86) died peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025 in a nursing facility located in Sellersburg, IN. She was born in Portageville, MO and moved to Louisville, KY at an early age. She retired to Largo, FL.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Rogers; mother, Evelyn Coley; step-father, Ed Coley; brothers, Larry Rogers and Jimmy Rogers; sister, Carol Baker; son, Chris Hellinger; son-in-law, Tony Baird; and great-grandson, Conner Loeffler.

She is survived by her sister Mary O'Brien (Mike); son Tony Hellinger (Mary Jane); daughters Pam Loeffler (Neil) and Angie Baird, 8 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was a retired Collections Teller at Bell South/AT&T in Louisville, KY, where she worked for many years.

We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to the nurses and aides in the Memory Care Unit at Traditions of Hunter Station and to the nurses of St. Croix Hospice for the care, love and kindness they bestowed upon our mother.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Kosair for Kids, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Alzheimer's Association.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Vitiation will be held on Monday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
