Michael L. Myers

Michael L. Myers, 69, entered into eternal life on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in Bedford, Indiana. Born on March 11, 1955, to the late Charles and Bonnie Jean (Stone) Myers in Jeffersonville, Indiana, Michael spent his life bringing joy and warmth to everyone he met.

In his early years, Michael attended Grantline Methodist Church in New Albany. Despite his disabilities, Michael's happy, loving, and sweet personality shone brightly. He was known for giving the best hugs and had an incredible ability to brighten any room he entered.

Michael had a passion for coloring and was exceptionally talented in this art form, often spending hours creating beautiful pieces that reflected his vibrant spirit. He enjoyed swimming very much. Michael trained for the Special Olympics, but unfortunately never competed.

Michael will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
