Mary Roberta (Harpenau) Meunier

A funeral mass for Mary Roberta “Bert” Meunier, 83, of Borden, IN will be held at 10:30 a.m. ET Thursday, October 26, 2023 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg, IN with burial in the church cemetery.  She died Saturday, October 21, 2023 at her home.

    Mary was a native of Perry County, IN and was a loving, caring person who gave freely of her time, talent, and treasures. She was an active member of the church for 58 years, volunteered often, and treasured her family time.  Mary was an exceptional quilter and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.         

    Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Alfred Meunier, parents Carl and Lorena Harpenau, sister Margaret Davis, sister-in-law Helen Harpenau, and brother-in-laws Lloyd Davis and William Waninger.  Survivors include her children Karen (Gregory) Keinsley of Anderson, IN, Kenneth (Danna) Meunier of Greenville, IN, and Linda (John) Van Hook of Borden, IN, brother Anthony Harpenau of Fort Branch, IN, sister Rowena Waninger of St. Meinrad, IN, sister-in-law Mary Meunier of Santa Claus, IN, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Visitation at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, IN will be from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. ET Wednesday, October 25 (Rosary at 7:30 p.m.), and  on Thursday, October 26 at 8:00 a.m. ET until the procession to the church.
