Mary Frances Eckert, 78, entered eternal life on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital. She retired from Carman Industries and was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus). Mary also served as Secretary at Silver Creek Junior High for a period of time and worked for Essroc for a short tenure. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary McIntyre. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, John “Jack” Eckert, sons, Albert (Wendy) Eckert, Michael (Deana) Eckert, Phillip (Kerri) Eckert, Paul (Kathleen) Eckert, brothers, Joe (Anna) McIntyre, John McIntyre, Steve (Sharon) McIntyre, sisters, Estelle (Jim) Mitchell, Ann (Marty) Bennett, Martha (Ken) Lone, Charlie (Judy) McIntyre, grandchildren, Molly (Justin), Jack (Maddie), Nick (Caden), Ben, Emily, Andrew, Noah (Victoria), Nathan, Ethan and Owen, great-grandchildren, Henry and Olive. A Funeral Mass will be held 11AM Monday at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Campus) with burial to follow at St. Joe Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8PM at the church and anytime after 9AM until the time of service on Monday.
