Marlene Jo (Gagne) Stevens

 Marlene Jo Stevens, 62 of New Albany, Indiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 15, 2023 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Marlene was born August 5, 1961 in Houston Texas. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, she had a huge heart and seen the best in everyone. Never judged only loved anyone she came across, even animals. She had two Chihuahuas she loved dearly, she enjoyed watching crime shows and always had a cup of coffee nearby. She is survived by her lifelong partner Joseph Harris Sr., her two daughters Misty Schneider and Shirley Cooper(Allen), two nieces Trena Gagne and Lexi law, a nephew Jodane Gagne, a sister, Judy Law, 16 grandchildren Tori Howell, Justice Stevens, Brain Howell jr., Jasmine Howell, Jason Schneider jr., Chad cox jr., Nathan Schneider, Jenna Proctor, Amelia Gagne, Kylee Bezy, Jaylen Taylor, Jonathon Gagne, Patience Stevens, Janay Taylor, Alana Cooper, Lula Cooper, and two great-grandchildren Justin and Daisy Howell. She is laid to rest with her grandmother Lula Mae Griffey, her mother Shirley Gagne, a sister Theresa Stromire, two brothers Willam(Larry) and Paul(David) Gagne, Her daughter Teresa Proctor, her son Richard Stevens Jr., a son in law Jason Schneider Sr. and a great grand-baby Anthony Jewel, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
