Luella M. Rauck, 100, entered eternal life at her home in Sellersburg, Indiana on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born on February 20, 1922 to the late Bernard and Mamie Kleehamer (Klein) in Bennettsville, Indiana. Luella was a professional homemaker, mother, grandmother and G.G. She enjoyed cooking for her family, quilting and embroidery work. Luella never missed an evening episode of Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune. She was solving puzzles in record time just a short time ago. Luella was a devout Catholic and a prayer warrior for many. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard J. Rauck, by her two sons, Bernie and Jim Rauck and by her grandson, Brian Rauck. Survivors include her son, Ronald Rauck, Sr.(Janet) of Memphis, Indiana, her daughters, Linda Helms (Ray) of Sellersburg, Carolyn Thomas (Eddie) of Sellersburg, Patty Hendricks of Sellersburg, 9 grandchildren and one step-grandchild. Luella also leaves behind 16 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Campus) with interment to follow in church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Church.
