Linda M. Tier

Linda M. Tier, age 68, passed away on February 23, 2026 in Sellersburg, Indiana. Born on April 27, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, Linda was the daughter of Eleanor Moore. She carried with her the strength and spirit of her Chicago roots throughout her life.

Linda worked as a marine merchant, a career that reflected her hardworking nature and independent spirit. She was known for her dedication, resilience, and the pride she took in her work. Those who knew Linda will remember her for her strong will, warm heart, and the lasting impression she made on everyone she met.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Garr Funeral Home, 7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172.
