Larry Kenneth Scott, Sr.

Larry Kenneth Scott, Sr. 76, entered into eternal life on October 5, 2022. He was

born in Pekin, IN to the late Kenneth and Marjorie Scott. Larry was a proud

Marine, a veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the American Legion.

He worked in the car business for 40 plus years, retiring from Jim O’Neal Ford in

Sellersburg. For fun he loved to go golfing and spent many years fishing and

hunting with his dad. Larry was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandpa

and great grandpa. He was a great friend to everyone he encountered. There

isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for his family and friends. He will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 50 years, Deborah Scott; son

Larry Scott, Jr; daughter Jennifer Belviy; brother Jerry Scott; sister Becky Forgy;

grandchildren Brianna, Dylan, Sandy; great-grandson Zander.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 P.M.  until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Heart, Diabetes,

or Parkinson’s Associations.
