Kenneth M. Rauck, 78, entered eternal life on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at his home in Sellersburg with his family by his side. He was born at home in Sellersburg on September 29, 1942 to the late Louis and Mary Rauck (Meyer). Kenneth was a retired self-employed carpenter. He was a true skilled craftsman. His work can be seen throughout southern Indiana in many homes. In the early years Kenneth retired from the Naval Ordnance after 26 years where he worked as a superintendent. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Kenneth was a member of the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Campus). He was preceded in death by his brother, Louis “Bud” Rauck, Jr., and by his two sisters, Mary Rose Brock and Alberta Zenor.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Gloria Rauck of Sellersburg, his daughters, Michelle Kirchgessner (Jerry) of Sellersburg, Stephanie Rauck of Ashland City, Tennessee, his sisters, Martha Lozier (William) of Sellersburg, Norma Balentine of Sellersburg and Joan Worrall (Bob) of New Salisbury, Indiana, grandchildren, Kendra Fiorucci (Brandon), Nicholas Kirchgessner (Sierra) and Lauren Hawkins (Eli). Kenneth also leaves behind many nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Campus) with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 8:00 A.M. until the processional to the church.
