Kelly Marie McCurdy-Kirkpatrick

Kelly Marie McCurdy-Kirkpatrick went to be with Jesus on January 11, 2025, at the age of 59. She was born to Ernest Cleo McCurdy Sr. (Tip) and Emma Vaughn McCurdy (Sparks) on April 10, 1965, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Kelly was a long-time employee of Hilliard Lyons, LLC, working 25 years in the financial industry. In Kelly's spare time she enjoyed singing, dancing, and watching classic movies on TV. Anyone that knew Kelly knows there was not a song that she didn't know the lyrics to or an actor/actress she didn't know. She enjoyed going to the lake house with her friends. She especially loved going with her best friend to the beach in Florida and multiple times the two went to see Kelly's favorite singer Gary Allan. All Kelly talked about was going to the ocean again and seeing the lighthouses.

She leaves behind those to cherish her memory daughters Chessica "Hope"

McCurdy - Vega (Jose), Brianna Kirkpatrick - Shuler (Don), Stepdaughter Nicole Kirkpatrick. Siblings Chester McCurdy (Penny), Raymond Giles, Dale McCurdy (Terri), Ernest McCurdy (Sandra), Donna Munoz (Jose). Six grandchildren Elena, Emma, Emersyn, Emiliano, Rowan, Damien. Two great grandchildren Gabriella Ramirez and Gemma Ramirez. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family that love her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Kirkpatrick of 31 years. Her parents Ernest and Emma McCurdy and her great granddaughter Gemma Ramirez. Kelly was loved by many and will live in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172). Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
