Kelly E. (Dulaney) Harl

Kelly E. Harl, a kind soul, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, at the age of 50. Kelly was born on October 10th, 1974, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and resided in Palmyra, Indiana, where she nurtured her family and many cherished animals.

A licensed practical nurse (LPN) by profession, Kelly dedicated her career to the care and well-being of others at the Southern Indiana Treatment Center in Charlestown, Indiana. Her compassionate nature and commitment to her work left a lasting impact on her colleagues and patients alike.

Kelly's love for animals was evident in every corner of her life, from her charming cow-themed kitchen to the goats and rabbits she showed in her youth. An ardent enthusiast for the outdoors, Kelly found joy in caring for her horses, ducks, and chickens, as well as spending serene moments with her beloved Rottweiler dogs. Her fondness for nature extended to camping trips at Sycamore Springs in English, Indiana, where she created many fond memories with her loved ones.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Clifford W. Harl of Palmyra, Indiana; her loving parents, Shirley and Naomi Dulaney; her children, Noah and Sierra Harl; and her siblings Julia Bolt (Jesse) and Matt Dulaney (Rose). She also leaves behind a large extended family, including brothers-in-law John Edwards and Chuck Blackford; nieces and nephews April Edwards, Mara Edwards, Jacob Edwards, Ashley Lortie (Brian), Brittany DeMoss (Josh), Bethany Blackford, Zach Blackford, Jamie Love, Samantha Sowders Justin Dulaney, Kaitlyn Bolt, and Gracie Bolt. Kelly also leaves her dear family friends whom she was named after, Bob and Brenda Kelly

Kelly was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Dulaney and her sister Kathleen Edwards, whose memories she cherished dearly.

Visitation for Kelly will be held at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, Indiana, on Friday, February 28th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life service will take place at Stony Point Church in Charlestown, Indiana, at 6:00 pm.
