Kelly Dawn Durham, 52, passed away at her home in Pekin, Indiana on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was born on July 9, 1969 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Kelly worked as the office manager for Apex Trailer Service of Jeffersonville. She was an avid sports fan. She coached baseball, softball, little league, and travel teams. Kelly enjoyed attending professional sporting events including the games of her favorite team, the Yankees. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Dwight Hardin, by her paternal grandparents, Leslie and Francis McKinley and by her maternal grandparents, Sidney and Estelle Hardin.
Survivors include her loving husband, Lindell K. Durham of Pekin, Indiana, her sons, Steve Durham of Sellersburg, Shae Durham of Clarksville, Spencer Durham of Pekin, her father, Dale McKinley (Tammy), her mother, Roberta McKinley, her brother, Kris McKinley of Jeffersonville, her grandchildren, Skyler, Simon and Sylvia Durham. Kelly also leaves behind 3 nieces and nephews to cherish her memory, Jacob, Jordon and Jaden McKinley.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
