Karen Sue McRae (Bailey)

Karen Sue McRae (Bailey), 69, entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on June 8, 1954 to the late Harold Bailey and Virginia Long. Karen retired from Bell South where she worked as an administrative assistant for 33 ½ years. She was a member of Northside Christian Church. In her free time she enjoyed taking trips to the beach, playing Bunco and Softball.

Survivors include her son, Adam Hadley, her daughter, Jenna Gravitt (Grant), her brothers, Bill Bailey (Tammy) of Sellersburg, Jeff Bailey (Carla) of Pekin, Indiana, her sisters, Sherri Balmer of Henryville, Indiana and Becky Lentz. Karen also leaves her 4 grandchildren to cherish her memory, Byron Dunn, Marcus Hadley, Milo Hadley and Lilly Hadley.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, August 21, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
