Jeri J. (Martin) Crone

Jeri J. Crone, 60, entered eternal life on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born to Jerry and Treva Martin (Clark) on August 11, 1962 in Salem, Indiana. Jeri attended church services at Borden Community Church. She enjoyed watching IU Basketball and her favorite NASCAR driver, Kyle Busch. Her world revolved around her grandbabies. Her time with them was priceless. Jeri was also fond of her cats. Jeri was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Crone and by her mother, Treva Martin.

Survivors include her mate, George Vedenhaupt of Pekin, Indiana, her father, Jerry Martin of Borden, Indiana, her daughter, Taylor Wray of Pekin, her sons, Dustin Wray (Mary) of Austin, Indiana, Gabriel Vedenhaupt of Louisville, Kentucky and her brother, Travis Martin (Carolyn) of Cincinnati, Ohio. Jeri also leaves 3 grandchildren to cherish her memory, Lucy Wray, Aria Wray and JoJo Vedenhaupt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
