Janice Pearl Hill, 61, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on July 15, 1959 in Melbourne, Florida. Janice received an associate in applied science in both administrative office and computer info systems with high honors. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa of Ivy Tech. Janice was able to fulfill her passion for IT working in the field for several years. She was a member of Speed Memorial Church and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #433 of Sellersburg. Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 35 years, William Hill, by her mother, Eva Berry and by her father, Phil Crum.
Survivors include her daughters, Andrea Oconnell (Clayton) of Sellersburg, Sheryl Adam (John) of Sellersburg, her sons, Michael Hill (Lora) of Clarksville, Larry Hill (Tonya) of Oklahoma her mother-in-law, Josephine Hudgens of Salem, her sister, Phyllis Hall (Bobby) of New Washington, her brother, David Crum (Sarah) of West Virginia, her 9 grandchildren, Darbi, Kage, Bailee, Brandon, Candace, Angel, Josh, Kayla and Kaleb. Janice also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Janice was a huge Harry Potter fan and if she wasn’t watching the movies or reading the books, you would find her reading her favorite Stephen King book with her always present Polar Pop of Diet Coke. If you happen to see a butterfly we would like you to imagine that it is her paying you a visit.
