Douglas Charles Martin

Douglas Charles Martin, 64, Passed away at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday, October 13th 2022 at 9:59pm. Doug had many visitors from friends and family during the day and family members with him that evening when he passed into heaven’s gate. Doug will be missed very much by anyone who knew him. He was loved by so many and loved spending time with family, friends and traveling. Doug is survived by four sisters and their spouses Diana (Joe) Roberts, Sellersburg, Indiana , Debbie LaCour, Jeffersonville, Indiana, Denise (Mike) Hammer, Columbus, Indiana, Dawn (John) Frakes, Minneola, Florida and his lifelong partner David Barlow, Louisville Kentucky. Also many nieces and nephews, Shannon (Garrett) Howell, Jeremy Roberts, Ashley (Abe) Blessinger, Paige (Scott) LaCour, Kendra (Joe) LaCour, Travis Hammer, Kaitlyn (Matt) Ostergaard, Mackenzie (Blake) Hurd and Ethan Frakes. Great nieces and nephews Audrey, Ava and Harrison Howell, Aiden Hammer, Abraham and Adalynn Blessinger, Jackson Ostergaard and Amelia Hall. Doug is preceded in death by his parents Jay and Helen Martin and a brother David Martin.

Visisation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday. A graveside service will be held for the family at Graceland Memorial Park at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday. Donations can be made to St Jude Hospital or Camp No Limits (A Camp for children with disabilities).
