Donna Maria Greenwell

     Donna M. Greenwell, age 76, passed on September 8, 2024. She was born in Lawrenceburg, IN on October 13, 1947 and was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Edward Pound and Velma Lee Boldon.

    Donna is survived by “the love of her life”, Michael Wayne, of Owensboro, KY, sister Nikki Spors, Brother-in-law Randy Spors, sons John Stanley Minnic Jr. and David Christian Greenwell, daughter-in-laws Leona Minnic and Krystal Greenwell, and grandchildren Lizzie Minnic, Alex Minnic, and Preston Greenwell. 

    She will also be missed by the ladies of Fairington Apartments in Clarksville, IN, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends.

    Donna graduated from Seneca High School in Louisville, KY in 1965 and started her printing sales career at Nationwide Paper Company while eventually moving on to sales at Progress Printing in Owensboro, KY.  Donna eventually transferred to Phoenix Business Systems in Louisville, KY as a printing and ASI sales specialist.

    Donna Loved photography and all aspects of the hobby.  She had several awards for her photos throughout the years and eventually hung up her camera when her children were born.

    Donna loved animals and loved her first chihuahua, Taco, as a child until his passing.  She then acquired 2 more rescue chihuahuas shortly after until they rode the rainbow as well.  Donna also loved cats and had several throughout the years of her life. 

 She also loved her grand-dog Atlas, a small horse to some, but just a gentle Rottweiler.  

    Donna enjoyed old movies and sitcoms and always fell asleep watching reruns from the 60’s and 70’s.

   Cremation was chosen according to Donna's wishes, with no service.  The family requests any donations be made to JB Ogle animal shelter.
