Donna Laverne (Barnett) Harrington

Donna Laverne Harrington, 80, entered eternal life on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem, Indiana. She was born on June 22, 1942 to the late Warrick and Edith Laverne Barnett in Henryville, Indiana. Donna retired from General Electric of Louisville, Kentucky after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Salem Wesleyan Church. In her free time she enjoyed playing games on her tablet, working puzzles, going out to eat and spending quality time with her family. Donna was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Wagner, by her second husband, Dan Harrington and by her Brother, John Barnett.

Survivors include her son, Richard Wagner of Henryville, Indiana, her daughter, Sheila Robertson of Salem, Indiana, her step-son, Jeff Harrington of Florida, her sister, Caroline Elliott of New Albany, Indiana and her 3 grandchildren, Amber Robertson, Brittany White and Autumn Robertson. Donna also leaves behind 3 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory, Breanna Lucas, Lincoln White and Rubi Robertson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Bunker Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
