Donald Alan Neuhauser, 82, entered eternal life on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his home in Charlestown, Indiana. He was born on February 11, 1940 in Scottsburg, Indiana to the late Charles and Lucille Neuhauser (Wolfe). Donald was a retired cable repairman. He entered the field with Indiana Bell and worked for the companies that followed until his retirement. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Donald was an avid musician and luthier. He hand crafted many instruments and was a very talented banjo player. He was a member of the Corydon Dulcimer Club and Peppers Band.
Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy Neuhauser of Charlestown, Indiana, his sons, John David Neuhauser (Debbie) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Donald Neuhauser, Jr., his daughter, Christine Lynn Miller (Keith) of Belton, Missouri, his brother, Charles David Neuhauser (Sherri) of Clarksville, Indiana, his sisterDorothy Christian of Lexington, Kentucky and his grandchildren, Brandon Martin, Nathan Martin, Dustin Neuhauser, Audrey Milburn and Leon Neuhauser. Donald also leaves behind 4 great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
