Dewanda K. Pederson

Dewanda K. Pederson, 58, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 30 2021 at Rolling Hills Health Care Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on the 14th of October 1962 in New Albany, Indiana. Dewanda was known for in genuinely happy personality and her infectious, dimpled smile. She never met a stranger during her 58 years and will be dearly missed. Dewanda was preceded in death by her mother, Patty Shaw and by her brother, Barry Smith.

Surviviors include her sons, Shawn Fosse of Sellersburg, Jason Fosse of New Albany, her brother, Tony Shaw of New Albany, her sisters, Diana Hall of Clarksville and Sandy Wilhoite of New Albany. Dewanda also leaves behind 4 grandchildren to cherish her memory, Autumn Fosse, Emma Fosse, Olivia Fosse, and Shawn Fosse II.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with cremation to follow.
