David Bradley Goodwin

David Bradley Goodwin, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21st, 2025, at the age of 55. Born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on Monday, July 28th, 1969, David was a cherished resident of Marysville, Indiana.

David is survived by his loving children, Dustin Goodwin (Amanda) of Marysville, and Megan Goodwin, who brought immense joy to his life. He also leaves behind his devoted siblings, Jeff Goodwin and wife Christine, and Laura Gregory and husband Robert. David was a proud grandfather to Malaya, Mason, Mavalee, Lucas, and Madilynn, who were his pride and joy. Also he was looking forward to the birth of another granddaughter who is on the way.

David was the son of the late David L. Goodwin and Westa Goodwin, who instilled in him the values and virtues that defined his life. A graduate of Charlestown High School, he went on to work as a dedicated sanitation worker, a career that spanned many years and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

A man of simple pleasures, David loved fishing, attending auctions, and found immense happiness in the smiles and laughter of his grandchildren. His passion for old country music and his love for John Deere were well known among friends and family. A true patriot, David carried his love for his country with quiet pride.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate David's life during a visitation at the Garr Funeral Home in (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at Charlestown Cemetery following the visitation. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers should be made to Garr Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
