Dallas C. Kopp

 Dallas Christian Kopp, 84, entered eternal life on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on March 21, 1938 in Sellersburg, Indiana to the late Raymond and Artie Kopp (Byerley). Dallas honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from American Synthetic Rubber Company of Louisville, Kentucky. Dallas was a member of the Sellersburg United Methodist Church and a past member of the Masonic Lodge.  He thoroughly enjoyed car racing, particularly dirt track racing and NASCAR.  Dallas was a huge fan of Silver Creek sports. He could be found cheering on the Dragons at most of the sporting events. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Lanum Kopp.

Survivors include his sons, Dallas Ray Kopp (Belinda) of Baltimore, Maryland, David Kopp (Michele) of Baltimore, Maryland, his step-daughters, Jane Sierota (Jeff) of Sellersburg, Debbie Wright of Jeffersonville, Connie Kidd (David) of Henryville, Indiana, his grandchildren, Dallas Ray Kopp, Jr., April Simons, Joseph Kopp, David Kopp, Jr., Savannah Kopp, and Morgan Kopp. Dallas also leaves behind his step-grandchildren to cherish his memory, Kelsey Brock, Matthew Sierota, Ally Roth, Tom Wright, Jason Kidd, Danny Kidd and Jessica Roberts.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
