Cody "Ali" Brackett

Cody “Ali” Brackett, 27, passed away on August 25, 2020 University of Louisville Health in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. She was born on December 9, 1992 to Christopher Bracket and Angela Crone in New Albany, Indiana. Ali was a 2011 graduate of Silver Creek High School where she thoroughly enjoyed her time Cheering. She attended Ivy Tech Community College where she studied Nursing. Ali loved music as she regularly listened to music with her dad and sang songs with her little sister and her mother. She loved being a mother and big sister and spending time with her family and friends. Ali will always be remembered for her caring soul and her sincere love for people. She was preceded in death by her mother, Angela Marie Crone, by her twin brother, Christopher Austin Brackett, by her aunt, Cassandra Butcher, by her cousin, Matthew Latimer Crone.

Survivors include her daughter, Kinslee Sowell of Jeffersonville, her father, Chris Brackett of Sellersburg, her brother Maxwell Brackett of Salem, her sister, Deja Jones of New Albany, her grandmother, Suzanne Lance (Charles) of New Albany, her grandfather, George Crone (Laura) of Salem, her grandmother, Jackie Brackett of Sellersburg. Ali also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, September 4, 2020 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made at the Garr Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
