Christopher Michael Armstrong

Christopher Michael Armstrong, 50, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on January 28, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on January 8, 1976, in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Bryan and Judy Armstrong.

Christopher was a man with a deep appreciation for the things that brought him joy and comfort. He loved classic muscle cars and could admire their lines and power for hours. The sounds of 80s rock music filled many of his days, often accompanied by the glow of neon light-up signs that reflected his fondness for bold color and nostalgia.

He especially enjoyed cooking shows and was known for humorously imitating his favorite television chef, Justin Wilson, bringing laughter to those around him. Christopher also had his own unique way of doing things—like ordering chicken salad, but carefully picking out and eating only the chicken—something his family and friends will always remember with a smile.

Christopher will be remembered for his individuality, his sense of humor, and the simple pleasures that made him happy. He leaves behind loving family and friends who will cherish his memory always.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents Levi Powell, Melvin and Norma Armstrong.

Surviving relatives who will miss him dearly are his parents Bryan and Judy Armstrong, grand-mother Joyce Powell, brother Justin Armstong (Jessica), nephews Gabriel and Abram, and niece Delilah. Along with his best friend Tressie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 12:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
