Bobby Franklin Saul, Jr.

Bobby Franklin Saul Jr., a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on June 25th, 1976, in Louisville, Kentucky, Bobby spent his life in dedication to his family, career, and community. He resided in New Albany, Indiana, where he touched the lives of many through his kind heart and generous spirit.

Bobby is survived by his devoted wife, Amy Lynn Saul, his mother, Gloria Tackett, and his cherished daughters, Emily and Katelyn Saul. He is also survived by his sister, Tanya Kiefer (Shaun), and leaves behind a large family that includes numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom adored him.

A proud veteran, Bobby honorably served in the United States Marines, carrying his commitment to service into civilian life. He worked as a Safety Manager with dedication and integrity. Bobby was also an enterprising businessman, having owned Saul’s Trucking from 2001 until he sold it to Libs Paving in 2021, where he continued to contribute his expertise.

Bobby’s passions included his cars, especially his treasured 1968 Plymouth Satellite. A man of many interests, he was an active member of the Masons Clark Lodge 40 F&AM and a respected Kosair Shriner. His faith was central to his life as a member of Eastside Christian Church, where he formed many deep friendships.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Walter "Rush" Tackett, whose legacy lives on through those who loved him.

Visitation  will be held at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana) on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. and on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday. Bobby will be laid to rest at Walnut Ridge Cemetery following the service.
