Blake E. Bridges

Blake E. Bridges, 34, entered eternal life on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born to Kevin and Brenda Bridges (Spitznagel) on December 21, 1988 in Louisville, Kentucky. Blake was a 2007 graduate of Providence High School. He furthered his education at Indiana University Southeast, earning his bachelor’s degree.  Blake worked as an accountant for SGS Graphics. He will be remembered for his fun and loving personality and interjecting comedy into any situation.  Blake enjoyed watching movies, composing music, and riding his bike. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Helen Bridges and by his maternal grandfather, Charles Spitznagel.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda G. Bridges of Charlestown, Indiana, his father Kevin W. Bridges (Karen) of Memphis, Indiana, his step-brother, Travis Lanham of Sellersburg, his grandmother, Joyce Spitznagel of Memphis, his Aunts, Debi Wycoff (Mike) of Memphis, Teresa Bridges (Richard Drake) of Findlay, Ohio, his uncle, Michael Bridges (Denise) of Henryville and his loving cousins, Linsay Draper (Lance) of Memphis, Jared Wycoff (Christy) of Charlestown and Derrick Bridges of Louisville, Kentucky. Blake also leaves many dear friends to cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
