Barbara Moses Obituary

Barbara D. Moses, 84, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born on June 19, 1935 to the late Phillip and Mary Catherine Rigrish (Hurley). Barbara retired from Greater Clark County Schools and was a member of the St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg.  She was very active in the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville in her early years. Barbara enjoyed gardening, knitting, caring for her flowers, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Rigrish and by her grandson, Zachary Marino.

Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Damon Moses of Sellersburg, her sons, Robert Moses (Dori) of Aurora, Colorado, daughters, Julie Dailey (Jon) of Greenwood, Indiana, Debora Marino (Angelo) of Sellersburg, her brother, John Rigrish (Carmen) of Birmingham, Alabama, her sisters, Mary Margaret Werner of  Fountain, Colorado and Catherine Lorenz (Doug) of Casselberry, Florida.    

Barbara also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren to cherish her memory.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 P.M. at the St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
