Amy Joyce (Curtis) Jefferson

Amy Joyce Jefferson, 42, entered eternal life on Friday, December 9, 2022 at her home in Borden, Indiana. She was born on July 8, 1980 to Gary and Shirley Curtis (Franklin) in Indianapolis, Indiana. Amy was a Nurse at Life Springs of Jeffersonville until her health would not allow her to work anymore. She graduated from West Washington High school and later earned her nursing degree from Galen College of Nursing. Amy enjoyed spending time with her family especially all of the little ones. She enjoyed taking pictures and was truly a “selfie queen” Amy reserved a big place in her heart for animals especially her two dogs, Chloe and Skylar. Her happiest times were spent with her husband and her kids. Her family was her everything. Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Curtis.

Survivors include her loving husband of 22 years, Matthew Jefferson of Borden, Indiana, her son, Jonathan Jefferson of Borden, Indiana, her daughter, Haylie Jefferson of Borden, Indiana, her father, Gary Curtis (Elaine) of Salem, Indiana, her brother, Richard Curtis of Salem and her sisters, Susan Graves of Salem, Indiana, Danielle Medalle of Salem, Indiana and Zina Dane Curtis of Salem, Indiana.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
