William "Bill" Miller, 74, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.  He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam, retired from American Commercial Lines and was a member of the Jeffersonville Elks Club.  Bill was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrus and Frances Miller.  Surviving are, wife, Diana Deckard Miller, Sellersburg, daughters, Valerie (Brandon) Lucas, Louisville, Kimberly Miller, Nashville, Tennessee, step-sons, Eric Deckard, New Salisbury, Clayton Deckard, Sellersburg, brothers, Clinton (Bonnie) Miller, Brentwood, Tennessee, Tommy (Linda) Miller, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, grandchildren, Nate Lucas, Levi Lucas, John Trent Lucas, Chase Deckard, Lucas Deckard and Grayson Deckard.  Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with cremation to follow.  Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM and anytime after 11AM until the time of service on Saturday, June 10th .  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 6100 Dutchmans Lane Ste 401, Louisville, Kentucky 40205-3284.
