William "Bill" Joseph Elliott, Jr., 66, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Jewish South Hospital. He was born on September 26, 1950 to William Sr. and the late Leota (Bruner) Elliott. Bill graduated from Indiana University, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He was a member of the  Joseph P. Bittner VFW Post #1832, the American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post #28, and the Sellersburg Moose Lodge #1757. Bill was preceded in death by his mother and his brother, Denny Elliott.

Bill is survived by his wife, Donna Elliott, Sellersburg, step-son Jason Lewis, Memphis, Indiana, step-daughter Jamie Young, Sellersburg, brothers John (Jyne) Elliott, Jeffersonville, Indiana, Gary (Karen) Elliott, Charlestown, Indiana, sister Karen (Tim) Kennedy, Jeffersonville, Indiana, step-grandchildren Lexie and Ashlyn Young, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 20,2016 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Silver Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 3-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
