Wanda Lee Whitehouse , 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on January 21, 1958 to the late Edgar and Eva Sulzer (Kidwell) in Louisville, Kentucky. Wanda was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church of Charlestown and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 8497. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Wanda worked at the Dairy Queen of Charlestown as a cook in her younger years. In her free time, she enjoyed going to bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Whitehouse and by her two brothers, Gerald and Gary Sulzer.

Survivors include her son, Jason Whitehouse of Charlestown, her daughter, Kelly Gaddis (Jonathan) of Charlestown, her sisters, Linda Campbell (Tom) of Charlestown, Carolyn Whitehouse (Scott) of Charlestown and Pam Jenkins of Louisville, Kentucky. Wanda also leaves behind five grandchildren, Elizabeth Bidlack (Gloria), Jacob McCutcheon, Blaise McCutcheon, Braxton Gaddis and Jonathan Gaddis II.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with interment to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Charlestown. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 P.M.  until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Garr Funeral Service to assist the family with final expenses.
