VIOLET "JOAN" MONTGOMERY, 88, entered eternal life on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home in New Albany.  She was a Homemaker, a previous member of Sellersburg Church of Christ and a current member at Abundant Life Christian Church in New Albany.  Joan enjoyed traveling, shopping and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her parents: Wilbur and Elaine Pfister, Husband:  Robert Montgomery, Sons:  Tommy and Robert Michael Montgomery, Daughter:  Elaine Montgomery Koch and a Grandson:  Robert Lee Ehringer.

JoAnn (Ricky) Chapman, Jeffersonville, Indiana

Twenty-Two, Grandchildren

Twenty, Great-Grandchildren

Seven, Great-Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 1:PM on Wednesday at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
